Doctors on Call
The unique extended documentary “Unsere Retter – Ärzte im Einsatz“ portrays physicians from various fields and in all aspects of their professional lives. Nothing is staged. Outside of the hospital, the camera accompanies the doctors on their way home to their families and friends. The documentary offers extraordinary insight into this unusual job and shows the people behind the professional curtain, who deal with intense pressure, and make sacrifices in their private lives to treat their patients.
This documentary gives viewers an idea of what it means to be a doctor. It is an authentic look at what really happens inside a hospital. The BILD original „Unsere Retter – Ärzte im Einsatz“ aired exclusively on BILD from August until October 2021.
